This was floating around the WJ Bookface group.
What say you, Oppo?

seems plausible. They need to do something to make it look new, but not screw with it too much. plus it ties it in to the Renegade.
oh, and someone’s getting fired.

There’s a not-insignificant number of people who think this is just a shopped renegade. I think they could be right.

It’s ‘shopped. Look at the bottoms of the grille slats. They’re not parallel with the bottom of the black fascia.

I’d be alright with it, but it’s a Photoshop. The teaser and spy images seen so far don’t indicate that radical of a change, other than a slightly more aerodynamic grille and windshield. It is going to be based on the existing platform with the same hard points as the outgoing generation, which does fit Chrysler/DaimlerChrysler/Chrysler/Fiat Chrysler’s model of getting two product cycles out of the same engineering.

If this is it, I like it a lot. It’s a little cleaner and moderner while still unmistakably Wrangler.

Wow I think that’s ugly. Then again, I like square vehicles. I can see them doing something similar with the front end for more aerodynamics, but a renegade grill pasted on looks pretty bad.

There’s no rests on the hood to receive a folded down windshield... making it an invalid candidate to be called Wrangler. I call fake.

It’s a scale model of an early concept from Jeep. Not photoshopped.

Thats not it. Hood is wrong, sides are wrong. Got some things right, but not 100%.

Looks like a Chinese knockoff.

I hope they’re right.

Could just be FCA build “quality.”

it looks decent, and i’d be OK with the JL resembling that, but there is one major issue which leads me to believe it isn’t real: This vehicle has a full uniside on it, meaning the A, B and C pillars, along with the roof side rail, are all integral. Meaning no fully removable roof/doors or fold down windshield like a JK, TJ, YJ or CJ. It looks like you would end up with something resembling a Geo Tracker or late Ford Bronco with doors.
